A barbershop built on craft, not trends
Parturi Kaarti opened on Iso Roobertinkatu to bring proper barbering back to central Helsinki. We are barbers—not stylists, not a clinic. Haircuts, beard trims, hot towels and straight razor work are what we do, every day.
The shop name references the old Finnish word for barber and the guard tradition—steady hands, clean lines, no fuss. Our chairs face the street so you watch the neighbourhood while you wait your turn.
We measure a good month by repeat clients, not by how many new products we sell.
Four barbers work rotating shifts. Two senior barbers handle complex cuts and full grooming packages; two journeymen cover classic cuts and beard work. Everyone trains in-house on our standards for neck lines, fade transitions and hot towel protocol.
Appointments should start on time. Prices should be on the board. You should leave knowing when to come back. That is the whole philosophy.

Dark wood, leather chairs, copper mirrors. Magazines on the side table, coffee while you wait. No loud music—conversation or quiet.
We stock a small range of pomades, beard oils and aftershaves. Optional add-ons, never pushed during your cut.
